Eway is a payment gateway service provider based in Australia and New Zealand. It enables businesses to accept credit card payments online through their websites or other digital platforms. Eway provides a secure infrastructure that facilitates transactions between customers, merchants, and banks, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of payment information.

Adding Eway to Your Payment Options

• Log in to your Joomla Dashboard and navigate to Components > EasyStore > Settings > Payments.
• Within Payment Settings, locate the “Add Payment Method” button and click on it.
• From the list of available payment methods, choose Eway and click on the “Add” button.
• This action will successfully add Eway to the list of available payment options for your online store.

Configuring Eway Integration

Once you have added Eway to your payment method list, click on the "Setup" button right beside the Eway payment method.

This action will prompt a popup screen to appear, allowing you to configure the plugin according to your preferences.

Title

Give your Eway integration a title (e.g., "Eway"). This user-defined title helps you identify this integration within your Joomla Dashboard.

Payment Environment

Choose between the "Sandbox" or "Production" payment environment depending on whether you want to test payments in a demo/test environment or process real transactions in a live environment.

How to Obtain API Key and Test API Key for Sandbox Mode

1. Visit the sandbox.myeway.com.au and create your account.
2. Login to your Sandbox dashboard.
3. Switch to the My Account tab and choose API Key.
   

   

4. In the Rapid API Information Section, locate the Rapid API Key part. Here you can find both the API Key and the Password. Use this API Key and the Password while integrating the Eway payment gateway in EasyStore.
   

   

Following similar steps, you can obtain the Eway Production environment’s API Key and Password.

Payment Instruction

If needed, supply your customers with any payment instructions or supplementary information. This could encompass details on completing a payment or any special instructions regarding Alipay payments.

After configuring the above settings, click Save & Close to save the integration. 

To make the Alipay payment method available for your online store, you need to add it to your list of payment methods from EasyStore > Settings > Payments. Learn more.
