Hi,

I have tested update from SP page builder 5.3.2 to 5.3.3 and there is a bug on Js Slideshow addon.

Before migration I had this : https://prnt.sc/bTjaXEwXjef1 After migration to 5.3.3 version I have this : https://prnt.sc/c4i3b-J7NvcW

Could you please fix this?

Thanks

Hi Laurent,

Noticed. Sorry for issue. Take Slideshow addon (folder) from older version 5.3.2 and keep current 5.3.3 installed. It will be the best option for now.

BTW

  1. Do you have Production mode in SPPB enabled? If yes, clear cache.
  2. Can you export that page, zip and upload here. We will check why.

no, Production mode is off. cache has been cleared and website tested in private navigation mode. I have added a link in Hidden Content are where you can download the page before and after the migration.

It's the same for me as for the guy above. Additionally, he stopped seeing pictures. Updates also delete the alt description of the image. Can you do more testing before releasing something? This is not the first time the website needs improvement or descriptions disappear. This is why SEO is failing.

I agree with @Artur.

Please @joomshaperteam : do more tests before launching a new release because everytime a new release is available there are a lot of bugs.

when can we expect an update ? I can not change that from an earlier version. how can I achieve that fast without getting the backup reinstalled ? agree with @Laurent -- I am already afraid installing new updates cause everytime there is something problematic.

I hope soon.

If you already installed SPPB 5.3.3 and you have problem with slideshow (as most users), you can always take from website backup that folder ( components\com_sppagebuilder\addons\js_slideshow ) and replace on current installation using FTP override, it should help by now.

I couldn't repoduce removing ALT or TITLE from Image addons, nothing was changed in that area in last update, php code in that same.

I don't check ALT image descriptions every time. I can't tell which update caused the problem. I have experienced this many times - ALT descriptions disappear. Animation could also be turned on on the website, but after the update it was turned off in the panel. You have a lot of such problems. We've gotten used to it, but it's tiring.

I talked with developer before they event started, on Friday, and he couldn't reproduce that issue.

Can you switch to "Center" using back-end editor as well, just to compare.

By now, please add that line to Page CSS:

.sp-slider-content-wrap {width: 100%; }

And tell me if helped or not. It should...
